Spring Into a New Fragrance

Rising temperatures, longer days, and flowers in bloom can only mean one thing – that spring is finally approaching! With the changing seasons certainly comes a need to change one’s scents of choice. Deep and smoky musks give way to effervescent florals – and this post will highlight just some of my new favorites that you too should have on your radar.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Fleur Musc

Fiercely feminine, Narciso’s latest fragrance creation is a flora scent that blends patchouli, amber, pink peppercorns, and musk. The bottle is a stunning, vibrant pink (one of my favorite colors, by the way!), and the perfect objectification of the scent inside. Bold, vibrant, and intensely feminine is exactly how I’d describe fleur musc.

Alaia Blanche

If the classic Alaïa is deep and smokey – the perfect winter scent – then Alaïa blanche is its polar opposite – a milky white floral with the addition of powder, vanilla, and musk – and the perfect scent for spring. In sharp contrast to the original, Alaïa blanche is all white light, and softness.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort

For spring, my beloved ELIE SAAB Le Parfum gets a distinctly red update, with the traditional white floral scent seeing the addition of red mandarin essence, frangipani, pomegranate nectar, jasmine sambac and orange blossom. Patchouli also lingers at the fragrance’s heart. The bottle is as feminine as the scent, and for me – it was love at first spritz. Spring in a scent, for sure.
Do you change your scents with the seasons? I’d love to hear some of your spring favorites in the comments!
